La Fiebre de Viajar: a store that helps you pick the right backpack, no doubts
La Fiebre de Viajar is a Costa Rican brand of backpacks and gear for travel and the outdoors. I redesigned its online store so people who come to look at a backpack quickly understand what it's for, trust the brand, and buy without doubts.

The starting point
A brand with an explorer's spirit
La Fiebre de Viajar designs backpacks and gear for travel and hiking in Costa Rica, with a lifetime warranty and one tree planted for every order. Many customers first meet the brand in its physical store or through a friend, and then visit the website to check before buying.
I started from the CRO audit done by the ConvertMate team. The key insight: many people came to look at the backpacks, but few finished the purchase from the product page.

Who we're talking to
Three ways to head out with La Fiebre
“I want to carry everything in one backpack and not pay for extra luggage.”
“I need something that holds up to rain on the trail and lasts a long time.”
“It's for someone who loves to travel. Which one will really work for them?”

What I decided and why
Every decision answers a question
What matters, up top
From the start you see what the backpacks are for: travel without paying for extra luggage, keep everything organized, and get a lifetime warranty.
Answers: why this brand?Choose by your kind of trip
Categories are sorted by plan: backpacks, bags and fanny packs, travel, beach, and adventure. Each one goes straight to what you need.
Answers: which one works for me?A menu made for travelers
I grouped everything you can buy under “Shop” (backpacks, travel, outdoors, and beach) and kept sustainability and the blog separate, so the menu doesn't compete with the catalog.
Answers: where's what I'm looking for?Buy without worry
Shipping, store pickup, the lifetime warranty, and returns, all explained in one place before you pay.
Answers: what if something goes wrong?05
Product page: before and after
Where the purchase is decided
Before
No rating or reviews near the price
The lifetime warranty, in one small line
Nothing about what it's for before the button
After
Three key benefits next to the price
Store pickup or shipping, right by the button
Add-ons to build your kit in one tap
Is your brand at a similar point?
